Conveniently
located on Interstate 5 in the town of Sutherlin, just 12
miles north of Roseburg, the Umpqua Regency Inn ss at the
gateway to the Oregon Coast and famous Oregon Dunes Recreational
Area. Crater Lake National Park and the Cascade Mountains
are within a 2 hour drive through some of the most beautiful
country in the United States.
An indoor pool
and spa, tanning bed and exercise room overlooking the pool
are just a few of the amenities that await you. Make us your
"home away from home" while you explore all the recreational
opportunities and natural wonders for which the area is famous.
We are family
owned and operated and maintain one of Sutherlin's AAA approved
lodgings.
All our rooms
are large and comfortable with refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker,
and direct dial phones with free local calls The bathrooms
have tub and shower and hair dryer. The 27 inch TV receives
90 cable channels, including free HBO. A continental breakfast
is served every morning from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. in our lobby.
Eight of these well appointed rooms are reserved for our guests
who smoke. The rest are non-smoking rooms.
The
Conference Room is equipped with an overhead projector, podium,
dry erase board, and 1V-VCR to accommodate the needs of corporate
meetings, wedding receptions, showers, graduation parties,
and other gatherings. Surrounded by an outdoor paradise, the
Umpqua Regency is an excellent location for that long awaited
vacation, company meeting or family reunion.
Enjoy wine tasting?
There are several excellent wineries within an hour's drive
on the local winery tour. The closest, Henry Wines, an award-winning
winery is less than ten minutes away.
If you love
to fish, there are 2 reservoirs, 3 creeks, and world-class
salmon and steelhead fishing on the Umpqua River that also
offers excellent white water rafting.
Hunters will
find abundant deer, elk, black bear, pheasant, quail, and
wild turkey in the area.
Cooper Creek
Reservoir offers water skiing, swimming, and boating just
ten minutes away.
Golfers will
enjoy the beautiful Oak Hills Golf Course just five minutes
from the lobby.
Rivers, streams,
lakes, ponds, 30 county parks, 17 state parks, Oak Hills Golf
Course, and Crater Lake National Park offer unlimited outdoor
recreational opportunities whatever the season. And all are
within a two hour drive of the Umpqua Regency Inn.
